We're the Generation that fucked Everything Up

We live in a world where, we spend more on war than peace, we meet more people online than in real life, we prefer texts more than calls or real meets, where break-up is the new fleek, and love is a menace. So if a child asks me today, I'd say we truly live in a fucked up generation. Where Instagram or Facebook likes matter more than people who really like us, where so many of us are writers who'll never get a chance to show their skills because their degree matters more than their words. Where loving someone is peccant and hurting someone is the new kudos. So dear next generation, when you sit in a cafe with an empty cup in front of you or a hot coffee gone cold, don't let anyone tell you that you can't see art in it. Bring back the old school love where there is some-buddy for you instead of fuck-buddy, call-buddy or no-buddy. Someone who could level you with their love, someone who would love to see your notes where you're an artist instead of your likes and feed. We already pass on our open mindsets and progression to you but don't let anyone tell you you're not worthy. Don't let anyone tell you that depression is the new trend and anxiety can easily be gotten over. We wish you aren't a fucked up generation in the fucked up world where even the planet won't be habitable for you. Because we will, and shall take care of this world and you.
Sincerely, your previous generation.
